Contract manufacturing is a huge portion of our business and we offer our services to any customer who don’t want to hire staff, deal with absenteeism and capacity constraints. You supply all or part of the materials and we supply a fully tested if possible and assembled item to your standards with high quality and low turn around time. Surface Mount Assembly
With theTP9-UFP and My 12 Mydata machines we are capable of placing 25 000cph accurately from 0402 upwards. We have recently procured new Re-flow Oven to ensure that the solder-ability always meet high standards. We are busy negotiating to increase capacity to +-40 000cph with another later model Pick and place machine early next year to be more flexible.
Conformal Coating
Washing and coating of circuit board/s to increase life span of the product and reduce corrosion and insect infestation.
Through-hole Component Assembly
Insertion and soldering of all components. All components are cut and bent to the correct specification with machine before insertion and soldering.
E-Shop
We have recently opened the retail outlet to supply raw materials/components directly to fitment centers, students and the public who normally drives 45kms out of town to obtain components. Our stock on hand ranges from Electronic components (SMD and Through-hole) to Harness/cable accessories, Plugs and switches for house hold use. We are the only company in Somerset that can offer this service. Orders can be placed via the on-line store or call in. We are backed by a well known courier who will deliver on time. Delivery within 45kms is free.
Harness Assembly
Custom looms/harness manufacturing with high speed 2.5ton crimping machines and high speed cut and strip machine with excellent accuracy. All assembled harnesses are tested with the aid of Cable Eye test machine to ensure connectivity and configurations meet requirements
Prototyping
Prototyping is another problem to most customers and we offer the services by building from samples, Diagrams, prototypes and component overlays. JJH is backed by highly qualified and experience engineers who can assist in design, problem solving and cost saving. Contact us for a quote.
Repair or Retrofit
JJH undertakes all types of repairs or modifications to all types of harnesses/looms or electronic boards/circuits and final assemblies.
Staffing
Staffing has become more of a problem for most manufactures due to a lack of skills and thus most labor brokers are finding it hard to satisfy any request for the electronic industry. At JJH, Emtech our training company, offer the services to train individuals to uplift and develop their skills that are in demand within the various electronic fields. Skills can range from component recognition, component identification, methods in component prep, methods in SMD and conventional component soldering, Understanding of component overlays, Bills of materials, Anti-static awareness, Line balance and through put, waste management, Kan-Ban basics, Continuous improvements, Crimping of terminals, insertion of terminals, wire harness assembly, quality control basic, test and assembly final products, etc. Contact us of a quote to in Skills development program.
